About the Team
Raytheon's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products.
About the Role
This position serves as a multi-discipline Senior Hardware Production Support Engineer, acting as the critical liaison between design engineers, the factory, and suppliers. You will be responsible for solving design and manufacturing problems while providing highly innovative solutions across product assembly, integration, test, statistical process control, and transition to production applications. In this role, you will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production and transition issues, ensuring the seamless delivery of complex electronic subsystems.
Work Environment
This is a 1st shift, 100% onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA. The position involves frequent travel to multiple sites, including Andover, MA, and infrequent travel to Tucson, AZ (approximately two times per year).

- check_circleEnhance electrical engineering skills through digital, analog, and RF hardware testing and debugging
- check_circleCollaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to resolve production issues
- check_circleProcess Engineering Change Notices and Variances through the Configuration Control Board

- check_circlePerform circuit analysis including characterization, modeling, and simulation of electrical signals
- check_circleLead failure analysis, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation
- check_circleDevelop and troubleshoot test equipment while establishing test requirements and procedures
Requirements
- verifiedDegree in STEM
- verifiedMinimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
- verifiedMinimum 3+ years experience in testing/troubleshooting RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuits
- verifiedU.S. citizenship required
- verifiedAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
Nice to Have
Experience in failure analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, preferably with supplier and factory issues. Experience working in a laboratory environment using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, phase noise analyzer (PNA), spectrum analyzers, real time spectrum analyzers, and performance network analyzers to test and verify the functions of digital and RF signal circuits and subsystems. Experience in a production environment. Experience in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements. Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
