The Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Hardware Engineering Group is looking for a Senior FPGA Digital Design Engineer to support FPGA designs through all phases of development. We are a cohesive team environment interested in individuals who enjoy a variety of challenges across a variety of products.
In this role, you will partner with a team of engineers to evolve how defense electronics are designed and deployed. You will own the lifecycle of FPGA designs, from assisting in high-level architecture to taking ownership of RTL coding, synthesis, place and route, and timing closure. Your day-to-day will involve developing basic test benches, conducting lab testing, providing product support, and ensuring FPGA security.
This position offers the chance to hone your skills on a team making a big impact on a global scale. You will work on a variety of challenges, utilizing your strong debug and problem-solving skills to support the development of the latest technology. Experience with DSP fundamentals and FPGA implementation, Matlab/Simulink, legacy designs, hardware design and hands-on lab debug, Xilinx Vivado or Intel/Altera Quartus, digital simulations with Modelsim/QuestaSim, script generation (Perl, Tcl, Python, shell, etc.), UVM/SystemVerilog, Radar systems, Video/IR processing systems, stepper motor control, C/C++, high speed ADC/DAC interfaces, SERDES, and PCIe.
