As a Senior Fire Alarm Technician and System Programmer, you will serve as a critical technical leader within our field operations. This role goes beyond standard installation; you will be responsible for the end-to-end programming, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm and low voltage systems in medium to large commercial buildings. You will act as a point of reference for complex field situations, utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot challenging issues and ensure optimal system performance and code compliance.
In this position, you will also play a vital leadership role by proctoring, coaching, and teaching other team members. Your day-to-day involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organized inventory in your company vehicle, and creating detailed documentation of services performed. You will collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution while providing top-notch customer support and clear instructions on system functionality.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills. The position requires full-time availability with on-call flexibility and the ability to travel on short notice.
