We are seeking skilled Fire Alarm Service Technicians and Inspectors to join our team. In this role, you will be the frontline guardian of life safety systems, responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing fire alarm systems across a diverse portfolio of clients.
Inspectors will lead the charge on scheduled inspections and testing, while Service Technicians will respond to both routine and emergency service requests. You will perform in-depth troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment replacements, often requiring you to program fire alarm systems or low-voltage systems including nurse call, access control, security, or CCTV. Your work involves interpreting complex blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and operational manuals to resolve problems through research and multiple alternatives.
A significant part of your day will involve interacting with building owners and other contractors. You will assist customers on-site with questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, using tact and diplomacy to navigate complex situations. You will also keep management informed of project status and ensure all company paperwork is completed accurately.
This role is active and requires physical agility. You will frequently work in unusual or difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment up to 60 feet, as well as working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. The job involves performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools, with lifting capabilities up to 75 lbs required.
