Amazon's North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance serves as a trusted partner for operational and functional leaders within the US Non-Sortable Network. Amazon operates the most complex retail networks in the world, delivering billions of packages to hundreds of millions of homes and businesses annually. This team is dedicated to operational and financial excellence, where every day is Day One. The role partners closely with a broad range of Senior Leaders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Accounting, HR, and Technology to act as a financial advocate and business partner.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will focus on the inputs, think like an owner, and proactively identify opportunities to decrease costs or improve customer and employee experiences. You will leverage appropriate resources to deep dive into business problems, formulate how to deliver improvements, and execute across the entire network of fulfillment centers. Success in this role involves understanding controllership, owning financial reporting for a business area, and identifying complex data integrity issues. You will design, develop, and maintain performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.
No day in USNS Finance is ever the same. You will work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and ever-changing environment alongside Business Partners and Support teams. Your day will involve using solid financial knowledge to build models, analyze business problems, and make recommendations that drive results. You will independently align financial and operational analyses with business partners, challenging assumptions when necessary. Communication is key; you will intuitively utilize active listening to articulate complex finance issues clearly and concisely, adjusting your style based on the audience. You will create effective business partnerships with Site Leaders, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
