About the Role
The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customer locations across the Midwest within the continental United States. This position requires strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems for onsite equipment diagnostics and programming. Technicians will work independently in the field, often dispatched weekly, and are expected to provide technical support and hands‑on service in a professional, efficient manner.
Compensation and Benefits
This is an hourly role which means you are eligible for overtime! We pay all regular travel expenses. We pay a per diem every night you spend away from home when traveling. This is hourly, so we pay overtime as well.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInterface with PLC systems to upload/download programs and troubleshoot logic and perform control system adjustments
- check_circleReview technical documentation and schematics to ensure accurate service procedures
- check_circleMaintain detailed documentation through work order systems and ensure issue resolution
- check_circlePerform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- check_circleTravel to customer sites to provide hands-on service for ground support equipment
- check_circleProvide end-user product orientation and safe operating procedures
- check_circleMentor or train junior or less-experienced technicians in-field
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED
- verified5+ years relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication, fabrication, or contracting
- verifiedPrevious GSE experience required
- verifiedElectrical diagnostics and repair skills
- verifiedMechanical systems and component-level service skills
- verifiedHydraulic diagnostics and repair skills
- verifiedProficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- verifiedAbility to travel up to 80%
- verifiedAbility to obtain passport if necessary
