About the Opportunity

Gpac, a national executive search firm specializing in the electrical construction industry, has been retained by a local electrical contractor to find a Senior Electrical Estimator to join their team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional ready to lead the estimating process for large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. The position exists to ensure accurate, competitive bids while fostering seamless collaboration between project managers, engineers, and field teams.

The Role

In this capacity, you will oversee the full lifecycle of the estimating process, from reviewing project specifications and drawings to conducting detailed take-offs for material and labor costs. You will serve as a mentor to junior estimators, providing technical guidance and ensuring all estimates align with company standards and industry regulations. A key part of your day involves analyzing historical cost data and supplier pricing to refine accuracy, attending pre-bid meetings, and collaborating on value engineering opportunities to optimize project efficiency.
