The Prototype Electrical Engineering unit is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the successful completion of planned maintenance shutdowns and providing the technical solutions necessary to restore the prototype to operation and resume its mission.
In this position, you will provide electrical field engineering support for instrumentation and control systems, medium and low voltage distribution systems, and various support systems. Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a recognized subject matter expert, offering leadership to engineering teams and mentoring both new and experienced engineers. You will drive process improvement, share lessons learned, and oversee projects to ensure they are technically sound, high-quality, and meet all program requirements. Success in this role requires the ability to interface with all stakeholders and management to align technical scopes, as well as the skill to deliver effective formal presentations to all levels of the organization.

Previous plant operations experience. Previous experience with instrumentation and control system testing and troubleshooting. Familiarity with prototype plant maintenance and design specifications.
