About the Role
As the Senior Contracts Director for HII Mission Technologies Corp's All Domain Operations (ADO) Business Group, you will direct and manage a large 10+ person team responsible for the administration of contracts and the timely, complete, and effective preparation of proposals. This role serves as the lead contracts point of contact for the ADO Group-level line organization, interfacing regularly with senior leadership and executives to manage proposal and contract activities related to new business acquisition.
You will develop strategies with management to ensure competitive, profitable proposals and build key relationships with senior USG Contracts leads to shape current and future acquisition strategies. Your day-to-day involves overseeing complex proposals, leading discussions on cost strategy, and coordinating special rate calculations with financial operations. You will also advise management on potential risk areas, oversee the negotiation of Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements, and ensure compliance with all government and corporate policies. In addition to managing the execution of contract administration policies, you will select, train, develop, mentor, and supervise contract administration staff, providing guidance on contractual and business issues including risk/benefit analyses.

Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 15 plus years of directly related experience in a government contracting environment including at least 5 years of supervisory/management experience. Experience in sales of commercial software to government and commercial customers. Experience with GSA AAS Defense (formerly FEDSIM). Experience with the Deltek Costpoint Accounting System platform. Top Secret clearance.
