As a Development Manager, you will serve as the lead for power generation projects spanning various technologies, including simple and combined cycle gas turbines, utility-scale solar, and energy storage. Based in Irving, Texas, you will oversee all project development activities from inception through the transition to construction in the West and regulated power markets.
Your day-to-day involves securing land use and environmental permitting approvals, negotiating real estate, and interfacing with local and state officials. You will guide projects through the interconnection process while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants on power marketing, engineering, legal, and procurement matters. Success in this role requires managing project schedules and budgets while reporting directly to Vistra management to drive profitability and strategic growth.
