Peraton is seeking a Senior Director - Defense Enterprise IT Modernization to serve as a strategic leader and trusted advisor. This role is designed to drive large-scale enterprise IT modernization initiatives across the Department of Defense (DoD), with a particular focus on the 4th Estate, OSD, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)-aligned missions. The Senior Director will bring extensive senior executive experience and deep domain expertise to influence and guide Defense leadership on mission-critical technology priorities.
In this position, you will provide strategic vision, technical leadership, and operational oversight to ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-impact programs supporting enterprise IT transformation. You will advise senior Defense leaders, including SES and Flag-level stakeholders, on modernization strategies spanning cloud adoption, cybersecurity, data integration, network transformation, and digital engineering. By leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the 4th Estate ecosystem, you will align technology solutions with mission outcomes, governance frameworks, and evolving policy directives. This role is critical to ensuring Peraton delivers mission-aligned, innovative, and scalable solutions that advance the Department's enterprise IT modernization objectives and strengthen national security outcomes.
