About the Role
This position is designed for a professional dedicated to mastering the intricacies of rebar fabrication. You will develop a high level of competence with Nucor Rebar Fabrication's detailing system (RebarCAD) and innovative detailing practices. The role requires a total understanding of the business system as it relates to detailing, managing costs, and fulfilling contractual requirements.
In this capacity, you will independently detail and coordinate large, complex projects. Your day-to-day involves verifying drawings, dates, specifications, and addenda, while working directly with job site personnel to determine project requirements. You will serve as a key communication link between the fabrication team, architects/engineers, steel placers, and customers, addressing change orders and informing clients of any necessary contract adjustments.
