This senior-level role is pivotal in driving healthcare innovation through cutting-edge data science and machine learning technologies. The Senior Data Scientist does more than develop advanced algorithms; they play a key role in strategic decision-making processes. You will lead projects that optimize healthcare outcomes and improve financial efficiency while acting as a mentor and technical leader within the data science team.
In this position, you will research and implement cutting-edge machine learning techniques to drive innovation, staying updated with current academic and industry trends. You will establish best practices for the team in data science and software development, ensuring deployable models and repeatable analyses across business units. As the quantitative subject matter expert, you will align data science goals with business objectives, working directly with partners on project scoping, timeline management, and documentation. Your work will influence organizational strategies through high-level presentations to both internal and external stakeholders, translating complex data science concepts into strategic business initiatives.
