About the Role
As a Senior Cybersecurity Support Lead, you will spearhead cybersecurity operational support, bridging the gap between afloat and ashore environments. This role is critical for maintaining the security posture of our government partners, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and Federal Civil agencies. You will serve as a technical subject matter expert, guiding incident response, vulnerability management, and policy compliance within complex federal landscapes.
Your day-to-day involves managing cyber incident response and patching strategies while overseeing Remedy ticket analysis and VRAM updates. A key part of your mission is to train and assist afloat system administrators, ensuring that our Navy cyber operations remain robust and resilient. You will operate primarily from a contractor site in Norfolk, VA, with frequent meetings at MSC HQ and occasional travel to CONUS/OCONUS ship visits.
