About the Team
Raytheon's Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit specializes in multi-domain integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics, effectors, and cyber solutions. Within ASDS, the Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Sub-SBU delivers information superiority from space, multi-mission automation, resilient operations, and secure data management.
About the Role
This onsite position in Aurora, CO, is designed for engineers who thrive in an Agile environment. You will join talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders to design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems. Your work will directly support the detection, sensing, command and control, and operations capabilities essential for air, space, and missile defense missions.
In this role, you will gain exposure to a breadth of advanced software technologies, including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice design. You will also deepen your expertise in modern DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and specific satellite ground system technologies such as command & telemetry, flight dynamics, and spacecraft operations.
