About the Team
This role resides within Raytheon's Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit. ASDS specializes in multi-domain integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics, effectors, and cyber solutions. Within ASDS, the Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Sub-SBU delivers information superiority from space, multi-mission automation, resilient operations, and secure data management.
About the Role
You will join a team of talented engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment to design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems. This position is critical to accomplishing air, space, and missile defense missions by ensuring robust command, telemetry, and data management capabilities.
In this onsite role based in Aurora, CO, you will gain exposure to a breadth of advanced software technologies, including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice design. You will also work with modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques, alongside specialized satellite ground system technologies such as flight dynamics, planning, scheduling, and spacecraft operations.
