We are seeking a Senior Civil Designer to function as the lead designer on a variety of engineering design projects related to residential and site infrastructure development. This role is critical for ensuring the successful execution of complex land development projects, from initial concept to final deliverables.
In this position, you will coordinate assigned engineering work with cross-functional project teams, including engineers, CAD designers, technicians, and sub-consultants. You will monitor work for compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and standards while ensuring effective communication across all project stages. The Senior Civil Designer will also identify, interpret, and resolve technical project issues with minimal oversight, applying a comprehensive understanding of site drainage, grading, and infrastructure constraints.
Beyond technical design, you will play a key role in planning and scheduling the design aspects of assigned projects. You will assist Project Managers with overall project schedules and budget constraints, conduct quality control reviews prior to external release, and maintain a professional and ethical approach to serve customers and increase the company's goodwill and profit.
