Senior Business Analyst – eCommerce

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our eCommerce team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis, with the potential to convert to a permanent role. This position is based in Northfield/Northbrook, IL,orthbrook, IL, with remote work options available.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will act as a Proxy Product Owner, ensuring that development teams have clear priorities and well-defined requirements and clear priorities. Your primary focus will be on gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for eCommerce solutions, translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders. You will participate in sprint planning and estimation, refinement, and backlog grooming to ensure smooth delivery of features.

You will work with architects and developers to understand technical designs, APIs, integrations, and system workflows. You will also support testing efforts by validating feature implementations and assisting in UAT to ensure smooth deployment.
