About the Role
Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Billing & Accounts Specialist to serve as a financial steward for a diverse portfolio of sponsored projects. This role goes beyond transactional processing; it is designed to ensure accurate invoicing, timely payment collection, and robust financial oversight. You will act as a bridge between internal departments and external partners, interpreting complex award documents to drive compliance and cash-flow efficiency.
In this position, you will provide operational guidance to team members and contribute to strategic initiatives that improve departmental processes. Your day-to-day involves managing multiple priorities with a proactive and diplomatic approach, resolving billing discrepancies, and performing detailed data analysis to support ongoing reporting improvements. You will work independently within a small, supportive team while collaborating closely with leadership to evolve how the organization manages its financial workflows.
