About the Role
The Senior Benefit Configuration Analyst serves as a business and technical expert within the QNXT platform, responsible for the analysis, design, build, and validation of complex benefit configurations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate claims adjudication and regulatory compliance.
You will partner closely with Product, Compliance, IT, Network, and Claims teams to implement benefit plans accurately and in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements. As a key member of the team, you will support new plan implementations, annual updates, and ongoing configuration maintenance. This position offers the opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert on benefit build logic and configuration architecture while providing mentorship to junior analysts.
Work Environment
This position is fully remote. Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAnalyze benefit plan documentation and translate into QNXT configuration requirements
- check_circleBuild and configure new and updated benefits in QNXT including rules and limits
- check_circleUse QNXT Configuration Management Tool to manage packages and perform impact analysis
- check_circleExecute back-end data validations using SQL to ensure configuration accuracy
- check_circleParticipate in end-to-end testing of benefit builds and coordinate defect resolution
- check_circleSupport annual benefit configuration activities such as Medicare and Medicaid updates
- check_circleServe as a subject matter expert for benefit build logic and claims-related business rules
- check_circleDocument configuration logic and maintain version-controlled artifacts for audit purposes
- check_circleProvide mentorship and support to junior configuration analysts
- check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams during product launches and system upgrades
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 6 years experience with 2 years directly related in lieu of bachelor's OR Bachelor's degree with 4 years experience
- verifiedHands-on benefit configuration experience in managed care or health plan
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of QNXT system architecture
- verifiedStrong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, and Commercial regulatory requirements
- verifiedCurrent residence in or willingness to relocate to listed states
Nice to Have
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) for data validation and troubleshooting. Experience with CMT and QCS tools for version management, configuration migrations, and build monitoring. Familiarity with implementation methodologies for new products or market launches. Knowledge of healthcare claims lifecycle, pricing, and accumulators. Lean Six Sigma or process improvement background.
