The Senior Analyst for Government Customer Care serves as the foundation of problem-solving and expertise within the Government Customer Service Team. This role is critical for navigating the dynamic global marketplace, supporting high-volume export and import cargo that includes dry, refrigerated, out-of-gauge, shipper-owned, hazardous, and breakbulk shipments. A significant portion of this cargo is project-based, characterized by a regular flow of changing customer bases, cargo types, and demand.
In this position, you will act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, including the Virginia Trade and Operations teams, CMA CGM Operations, Service Delivery, and agencies globally. You will support key business segments such as US Flag, Guam, Relief Cargo, or Military HHGS. The role requires a blend of logistical analysis, critical thinking, and adaptability to resolve complex customer and internal needs. You will be empowered to make limited financial decisions regarding cargo free time, freight rate reductions, and service recovery waivers while maintaining booking accuracy and meeting key performance indicators.
