This highly visible Senior Accountant role supports international accounting operations across multiple global entities and regions within a PE-backed, global technology organization. With operations spanning 15+ countries, the position offers a unique blend of operational accounting, international exposure, analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
The team values attitude, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity just as highly as technical accounting skills. You will join a collaborative, high-energy culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to contribute ideas, challenge legacy processes, and help improve reporting, systems, and workflows.
You will partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional global finance teams to manage P&L ownership, balance sheet management, intercompany accounting, and month-end reporting responsibilities. This is a backfill opportunity supporting an established accounting team with three direct reports under the Accounting Manager.
Leadership is specifically seeking someone who can step in quickly, contribute immediately, and positively impact team culture. You will prepare and support month-end close processes, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with audit support, statutory reporting, and tax compliance coordination. The role involves analyzing trends, investigating discrepancies, and providing analytical insights to leadership teams while supporting ERP and process improvement initiatives.
The office is located in Bethel, CT. This role operates on a hybrid schedule with one remote day per week (Monday–Thursday onsite).
The interview process includes technical and analytical testing focused on Excel, data analysis, and accounting problem-solving skills. Ideal candidates will balance strong accounting fundamentals with curiosity, adaptability, and a team-first mentality.
