Senior Accountants serve as a vital bridge between our firm and a diverse portfolio of clients, including privately held businesses, non-profit organizations, governmental entities, employee benefit plans, and individuals. In this capacity, you will provide comprehensive accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services, operating with minimal supervision while adhering to established firm and accounting guidelines.
This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a deadline-driven environment and possess a strong desire to learn. You will spend the majority of your time performing planning and fieldwork procedures, preparing financial statements, and filing federal and state income tax returns for various entity types. Beyond technical execution, you will begin building meaningful relationships with clients, potentially serving as their primary contact, while also overseeing staff accountants and interns on assigned engagements.
Approximately 15% to 20% of your time will be dedicated to firm growth and development, including participating in continuing professional education (CPE), networking, business development, and mentoring newer team members. Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information are critical to your success in this position.
Candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting or a closely related degree are encouraged to apply. We value those on the CPA career track who are working towards obtaining their license, as well as those with a Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
