About the Role
The Senior Accountant serves as a key partner in the reporting, consolidation, and analysis of financial results. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the strategic planning of the organization. The day-to-day responsibilities involve recording recurring and adjusting journal entries, performing monthly variance analysis to explain and document budget-to-actual results, and executing timely account reconciliations to the general ledger.
Beyond daily transactions, the Senior Accountant provides the supporting schedules and detailed analysis required for the preparation of annual budgets and audits for the hospital entity and its departments. This position offers the opportunity to work within a full-time, 40-hour/week schedule while contributing to the financial health of a community-focused healthcare system.
