As a Security Architect within a federally focused environment, you will serve as a strategic partner to solution owners, OCTO (AIA/Solution Architects), and Business Development teams. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex business strategies and robust information security requirements, ensuring that technology solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture from the ground up.
You will act as a technical ISO stakeholder in Enterprise Risk and Assurance activities, translating security standards into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences. Your day-to-day involves assessing business strategies, conducting vulnerability analyses, and defining security requirements for new and existing technologies. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to identify architectural risks, define mitigating controls, and document security decisions to support audit and assurance activities.
A key part of your mission is to foster strategic relationships and establish key organizational partnerships. You will ensure that proposed designs align with enterprise security standards, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements, while also researching emerging technologies to evaluate technical trends. By identifying recurring architectural risk patterns and escalating systemic issues, you will help drive remediation planning and maintain the integrity of our security posture.
