This position serves as a strategic bridge between business objectives and enterprise security architecture within a federally focused environment. You will act as a technical ISO stakeholder, providing security architecture and guidance to solution owners, primarily engaging with OCTO (AIA/Solution Architects) and Business Development teams. The role exists to ensure that technology solutions not only drive innovation but also adhere to rigorous regulatory, contractual, and internal control standards.
In this capacity, you will translate complex security requirements, standards, and controls into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your work involves identifying architectural and solution-level security risks, collaborating with partners to define appropriate mitigating controls, and documenting security architecture decisions to support audit and assurance activities. You will also identify recurring architectural risk patterns and escalate systemic issues to ISO leadership for remediation planning.
You will partner with various information security team members and IT teams to ensure that changes to new or existing technologies are assimilated and functioning correctly. A key part of your mission is to establish collaborative working relationships with internal and external business partners and clients, ensuring that technology solutions align with security architecture and broader business strategy. You will also foster strategic relationships and establish key organizational partnerships to support internal and external compliance activities.
