This position serves as a critical bridge between business strategy and information security, ensuring that technology solutions are robust, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture. You will act as a technical Security Architect within a federally focused environment, providing guidance to solution owners, OCTO teams, and Business Development groups. The role is designed to translate complex security requirements, standards, and controls into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In this capacity, you will define security requirements for new and existing technologies, overseeing projects through the implementation phase. You will identify architectural and solution-level security risks, collaborating with stakeholders to define appropriate mitigating controls. A key part of your day involves partnering with technical architects to ensure consistency with enterprise architecture processes and establishing collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners. You will also serve as a technical ISO stakeholder in Enterprise Risk and Assurance activities, documenting security architecture decisions and escalating systemic issues to leadership for remediation planning.
