Based in Erie, PA, the Security Operations Analyst serves as a frontline defender against cybersecurity threats, playing a critical role in protecting the organization, its data, and its mission of making dreams come true. The role goes beyond standard monitoring; it involves leading advanced investigations into abnormal behaviors, determining exploit paths, and implementing corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence. You will be responsible for strengthening organizational resilience through disaster recovery and business continuity planning, while also translating complex security concepts into clear documentation, runbooks, and executive-ready presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
A Typical Day
Your day will be a dynamic mix of proactive defense and reactive response. You will monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM and XDR platforms, conducting multi-source investigations to identify internal and external threats. When active incidents occur, you will perform containment and eradication actions, such as isolating affected assets and restoring secure configurations.
Beyond immediate incident response, you will lead deep-dive investigations into suspicious activity, document root cause analyses, and support the development of disaster recovery procedures. You will also collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to enhance security controls, research emerging threats, and deliver security awareness training sessions to the broader organization.

Requirements
