Mainstay Technologies is a trusted IT and Information Security partner for small and medium-sized businesses across northern New England. Recognized as a Best Company to Work For, a Coolest Company for Young Professionals, and a recipient of the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, our culture is built on a simple mission: to give more than we get. We believe people are always the end, never the means, fostering a community of high-ownership teammates who work hard, enjoy each other immensely, and prioritize life outside of work.
The Security Operations Center (SOC) team serves as the critical first line of defense for our clients. We maintain essential security layers, resolve issues before they impact our clients, and provide a vital second set of eyes on important processes. Our team is driven by rapid response, saving time, and improving the quality of service for the businesses we protect.
As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, you will be the backbone of our client security posture. You will work directly with the SOC team to resolve multiple alert types originating from our clients' systems, ensuring that security incidents are managed efficiently and effectively. This role is not just about monitoring; it is about proactive problem-solving and collaboration.
In this position, you will prioritize and respond to security alerts from SIEM systems and XDR endpoint protection tools. You will manage our User Security Platform (USP) tools, including vulnerability scanning, phishing testing, and dark web monitoring, to support the security health of Mainstay and our clients. You will collaborate with internal teams on incident response and security topics, while also supporting NOC technicians with network and system alerts. Whether you are helping implement Threatlocker or supporting SOC-led projects, your work ensures that our clients' systems remain secure and compliant with current frameworks and regulations.
