About the Team
Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is proud to operate the Hawaii Job Corps Center in Makawao, HI. Our staff provide quality services to local youth, and we value professional, caring employees who are dedicated to improving people's lives. We are looking for you to join our team as a Security Officer/Driver on-call.
About the Role
You will work on our Prime or Midnight shifts, responsible for performing guard and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, and disasters. Your role involves ensuring compliance with government and management directives while maintaining a secure environment for our center.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include securing buildings and property by checking doors, windows, lights, and emergency equipment, as well as maintaining logs of findings and corrective actions. You will also perform parking and traffic control duties, conduct routine vehicle equipment inspections, and provide general transportation services as necessary. Additionally, you will be prepared to respond to fire alarms, assist in suppressing fires, and set up and check the operation of intrusion alarm systems. In the event of disturbances, you will assist staff and law enforcement personnel in controlling the situation and conducting preliminary investigations.
