The Security Bike Officer serves as the friendly face of Caesars Entertainment, dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and team members. This role is pivotal in protecting company assets while upholding the organization's mission statement. Officers act as ambassadors, providing accurate directions to attractions and amenities while maintaining a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor at all times.
As a highly visible presence, the Security Bike Officer patrols assigned exterior areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of the property. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying suspicious circumstances, gaming violations, safety hazards, and potential theft. Officers are expected to be alert to medical emergencies and damage to property, serving as a first responder for guests and employees in need of immediate assistance.
Your day will involve routine patrols on a company-issued bike, ensuring all exterior areas, including loading docks and grounds, are secure and free of contraband or unsafe conditions. You will be the first point of contact for guests requiring assistance, resolving complaints through personal action and coordination with other departments.
Throughout your shift, you will monitor for suspicious individuals and relay any incidents warranting security intervention immediately to Security Dispatch. You are responsible for the care and maintenance of your bike and equipment, conducting inspections at the start and end of every shift. In inclement weather or at a supervisor's direction, you may utilize a vehicle to patrol assigned areas. The role demands physical agility to navigate various terrains and the ability to remain calm and make rational decisions during crisis situations or stressful interactions.
Candidates selected for this position must successfully complete the Western Division Security Academy within the first ninety days of employment. This comprehensive training covers Controlled Force, Defensive Tactics, Legal Issues, Handcuffing, Tactical Communications, Use of Force, Report Writing, Searching Subjects, Emergency Response, Ethics, and Expandable Baton. Re-certification is required between years two and three of employment.
