Cherokee CRC (CRC) is a division of Cherokee Federal, a network of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses. As a trusted partner for over 60 federal clients, our mission is to build a brighter future, solve complex challenges, and serve the government with compassion and heart.
This Security Guard position is critical to maintaining the safety and integrity of our government contract facilities. You will serve as a visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions, providing a general security presence at your assigned post. Your role involves actively patrolling buildings, grounds, and parking lots to observe activities, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
You will be the first line of defense in emergency situations, responding to medical incidents, fires, bomb threats, and alarms. Beyond physical security, you will act as a point of contact for visitors, answering inquiries and ensuring all personnel have vacated the building during closing procedures. Success in this role requires the ability to make sound decisions under stress, maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with government personnel and the public, and adapt quickly to changing situations.
