About the Role
This position is designed for an early-career Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst ready to transition from alert triage to deeper investigations. If you have spent a year or two in a Tier 1 seat watching the queue and escalating to senior analysts, this role offers the next chapter of your career.
At DataVox, you will handle Tier 1 work on day one but will not stay there. From the start, you will perform Tier 2 investigations, contribute to client security roadmaps, and own pieces of our MSP service delivery. Within 12–18 months, you are expected to operate as a full Tier 2 resource and help drive security strategy for a portfolio of clients. You will gain exposure to real client conversations and have a seat at the table when security strategy is shaped.
Work Environment & Requirements
Important: This role requires daily onsite attendance in Houston. Remote work and visa sponsorship are not available.

Requirements

Nice to Have
MSP or MSSP experience in multi-tenant environments with ticket-driven workflows. Cloud security exposure in Azure, AWS, or M365 security stack. Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python. Additional certifications such as BTL1, GCIA, GCIH, or Microsoft SC-200. Experience with phishing analysis, malware triage, or threat hunting.
