About the Role
We have an immediate opening for Security Agents at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey. ACTS Security Agents are proud of their role in aviation security and have the opportunity for advancement, making this the ideal place to build a career in the industry.
In this role, you will serve as a vital part of the security team, inspecting airline equipment, screening cargo, and performing aircraft monitoring and gate guarding. You will be responsible for observing and monitoring unit activity and facility surroundings to ensure safety and compliance. The position requires a strong security mindset, a commitment to keeping the skies safe, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Work Environment
This role involves working non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be willing and able to work in environments with extreme temperature conditions, ranging from as cold as 30 degrees Fahrenheit to as hot as 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hiring Process
Candidates will be required to go through a pre-employment drug screen, criminal check, and airport fingerprinting (SIDA Badge). A confirmed 10-year background check is also required.
