As a certified Safelite Seasonal Repair Specialist I, you will utilize our industry-leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs. You will champion the Safelite Spirit with a can-do attitude, a caring heart, and a service mindset. Your goal is to bring unexpected happiness to your customers by completing jobs with only the highest quality standard in mind.
In this role, you will learn to repair vehicle glass through classroom instruction and hands-on training under the guidance of experienced technicians and Safelite leaders. You will focus on the "Safelite Way of Fitting" while repairing chips, cracks, and other auto glass-related issues on customer vehicles. You will manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication through our handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology, and you will also promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
Your day will involve cleaning customer vehicles during wait times, performing housekeeping tasks in the company vehicle and shop, and safely operating company and customer vehicles along with company-issued tools and chemicals. You will also be responsible for complying with all policies and standards.
