We are more than just the familiar brown trucks delivering everything from diapers and dish towels to college care packages and life-saving medicines. We are hardworking, efficient package handlers and friendly, focused drivers. We are also professionals working in finance, technology, engineering, marketing, and more. We are building our business ethically, sustainably, and in an environmentally conscientious way. We are here to deliver what matters—to customers, communities, colleagues, the world, and you and your career.
Casual Package Delivery Drivers are the friendly, physically active crew who enjoy fast-paced work, being outdoors, and being behind the wheel. You will drive our familiar brown trucks, bringing packages great and small to our customers in your community and beyond. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in excellent customer service.
This is a seasonal role, offering a great place to start at UPS. Many seasonal drivers go on to secure permanent roles that offer even more advantages and benefits. Full-time casual drivers work eight to ten hours per day, with workdays varying (Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday) depending on business needs.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications, including the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, possess a valid driver's license (no CDL required, though type varies by state), and pass the DOT physical. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent driving skills and the legal right to work in the U.S. All drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
