About the Role

As a Part-Time School Bus Driver in North Tonawanda, NY, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students' days with morning pickups before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. This role is perfect for retirees seeking supplemental income, stay-at-home parents, veterans transitioning to civilian roles, or anyone looking for a second career with a flexible schedule.

No prior experience is necessary to become a school bus driver. We provide expert training and guidance to help you become a safe and professional First Student driver, including Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training. Your day will involve supervising boarding and unloading, maintaining order on the bus, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and communicating with parents and school staff. You will also have the opportunity to take on additional hours for field trips and special events.
