This position is designed for career-minded school bus drivers seeking year-round employment and professional growth. You will be responsible for transporting students on home-to-school routes, field trips, and activity trips. Your day will involve picking up and dropping off students at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations while adhering to strict time schedules. You will navigate using maps, written instructions, and GPS programming, and you will be expected to escort small children across roads and highways safely.
Beyond driving, you will maintain a clean bus interior and ensure order among pupils to guarantee the safety of all passengers. MTS distinguishes itself by offering an industry-recognized Apprenticeship Program designed to recognize your achievements and support your career growth as a professional school bus driver.
MTS offers local work based on your residence, with 8-hour shifts available in both AM and PM schedules.
