This 13-week contract position is based at our Support Center in Gaithersburg, MD, with a dedicated focus on scheduling surgeries within a hospital or clinical setting. The role is designed for professionals with specific experience in hospital-based surgical scheduling, as surgery center experience is not considered equivalent for this position.
The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring on-site attendance for initial training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. The standard work week runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM, with Fridays concluding at 3:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and 2–5 years of direct experience scheduling surgeries in a hospital environment. Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential. While Cerner experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
To ensure compliance and team alignment, successful candidates must maintain a dedicated HIPAA-compliant workspace and be available for on-camera participation during weekly huddles and team meetings. The company provides all necessary equipment, including a computer, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset, and camera.
