About the Organization
Since 1976, the Hinds County Human Resource Agency (HCHRA) has fought to eradicate poverty and empower citizens in Hinds County, Mississippi. As a public, non-profit Community Action Agency created by the Hinds County Board of Supervisors, HCHRA administers a comprehensive delivery system of services funded by public, private, and local sources.
Led by the President and Chief Executive Officer, approximately 400 employees provide essential support to disadvantaged citizens. Key programs include Head Start and Early Head Start, rural transportation for the elderly and disabled, home-delivered meals, home energy assistance, and case management.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleMonitor the IT Front Desk scheduling system daily
- check_circleSend reminder cards to patients about upcoming events
- check_circleAssess emergency appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts
- check_circleContact clients two days before scheduled appointments to send reminders
