About the Role
As a Scheduling Specialist, you will manage patient referrals and visit schedules, serving as a vital link between clinical needs and operational execution. You will assign patient assessments and other visits as ordered by physicians using our online scheduling system. Your work involves collaborating closely with the Team Leader to identify clinicians with the appropriate experience and skill set to match specific patient needs. You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that challenges you, providing clear direction on what it takes to succeed while offering development opportunities for other roles you may be interested in.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage patient referrals and visit schedules using an online scheduling system
- check_circleAssign patient assessments and other visits as ordered by physicians
- check_circleMaintain a calendar of services for episodic and per visit customers
- check_circleProcess workflow for scheduled, missed, rescheduled, reassigned, declined, and delivered visits
- check_circleMonitor pending referrals daily and assign licensed professionals for start of care visits
- check_circleCollaborate with Team Leaders to match clinicians to patient needs
- check_circleCommunicate with field staff to resolve unaddressed, late, pending, or incomplete visits
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school education or equivalent experience
- verified1+ years of scheduling experience in a health care setting using an online scheduling system
- verifiedWorking knowledge of state and federal regulations governing OASIS visits, supervisory, and reassessment visits
