About the Role
The Senior SAP ABAP Developer serves as a critical technical leader within our enterprise application environments. This role goes beyond standard development; it involves complex business and system analysis, design, and the creation of detailed programming specifications for both current and proposed systems. You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, translating customer information into robust enterprise designs.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with SAP Functional Consultants and client teams to analyze alternatives and provide strategic recommendations. A key component of this role is leadership; you will manage a team, providing mentorship and training to junior members while overseeing budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning. Your work will directly influence the success of S/4HANA projects, requiring you to navigate the complexities of modern SAP ecosystems while maintaining the highest standards of code quality and system integrity.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role must meet specific security and location requirements, including an Active Secret clearance and no dual citizenship. The position is based in St. Louis, with weekly Monday-through-Friday travel required if not located locally.
