About the Role
An SAP BRIM ABAP Technical Consultant serves as the critical bridge between complex subscriber billing business logic and backend system code. This role is designed for professionals who can translate intricate billing requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
The position focuses on the full spectrum of the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) suite. Consultants in this role are responsible for developing custom invoice processing rules, managing high-volume data handling, and ensuring seamless account reconciliation and payment processing. The work involves deep customization of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), Subscription Order Management (SOM), and Convergent Charging (CC) environments.
A key aspect of this role is adhering to "Clean Core" principles. Consultants must ensure that all custom code aligns with upgrade-safe, extensibility guidelines, guaranteeing that standard applications remain stable during system updates. This requires a strong command of modern development frameworks, including Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), alongside legacy extension knowledge for SAP CRM Web UI frameworks.
