This role serves as a critical liaison between CCS Global Tech and our client, SMUD, to ensure the stability and performance of their enterprise SAP environment. You will be the primary point of contact for troubleshooting system issues, managing 24/7 on-call support, and coordinating with SMUD analysts and technical teams to resolve outages or performance issues.
The day-to-day involves leading primary SAP BASIS administration for major enterprise applications, including S/4HANA migrations and cloud implementations. You will work closely with business units and application users to provide support, while also managing system sizing, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning. As a vendor liaison, you will handle bug fixes, licensing, and maintenance, ensuring all activities align with SMUD standards and Service Level Agreements. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong communication skills to effectively report status updates and progress to SMUD management.

Current SAP certifications related to the systems outlined in the scope of work. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience. Deep knowledge of SAP cloud offerings, Hyperscaling and Hyperscalers. Proficiency in SAP system refresh processes (native SAP and tools such as LAMA, SAP PCA Add-on). Administration experience for NetWeaver Java Stack solutions (Adobe Document Services, Process Orchestration, System Landscape Directory). Experience with SAP change management (CTS+, non-ABAP and cloud solutions). SAP system administration in DB2/AIX, RHEL environments.
