About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable, hands-on leader to manage ongoing application development activities for our Information Technology organization. As an SAP Application Development Manager, you will serve as a bridge between business strategy and technical execution, delivering solutions that drive organizational success.
In this fast-paced environment, you will lead a team of three to six application developers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, project managers, and business analysts to ensure project deliverables are designed, developed, and supported effectively. You will drive the strategy and roadmap for our application development landscape, ensuring a cloud-smart, vendor-supported philosophy while maintaining rigorous security controls and compliance standards.
Beyond technical oversight, this role requires astute customer service skills to manage internal and external end users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, facilitating knowledge base organization, and ensuring that all solutions are thoroughly documented and transitioned smoothly to support teams. Success in this position demands the ability to adapt quickly to organizational changes while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.

Requirements

- verifiedExperience with SAP ABAP/BTP, .NET Framework, C#, VB, SQL Server, API development, Web Services, Unit Testing, .NET Core, IIS, Azure DevOps
- verifiedPMI or Agile/Scrum certification desired
- verifiedCloud-based application development experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- verifiedExperience with DevOps/DevSecOps framework
Nice to Have
Project Management Institute (PMI) or Agile/Scrum certification. Cloud-based application development experience, preferably within AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience performing application development activities within a DevOps/DevSecOps framework, preferably with some degree of continuous integration/delivery exposure. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
