The Sanitation Manager serves as the technical liaison between the manufacturing plant, Headquarters, sanitation chemical suppliers, and third-party providers. This position is critical for leading the implementation of the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program throughout the facility. Beyond sanitation oversight, the role provides leadership and direction to the entire plant during the night shift, encompassing production, packaging, security, and safety operations.
The Sanitation Manager ensures a safe working environment by maintaining strict chemical safety procedures and MSDS compliance. This includes partnering with chemical suppliers to enhance training beyond standard offerings and managing structured, orderly chemical storage areas. The role also involves managing the Internal Cleaning and Sanitation Audit Program, executing cleaning verification and validation, and overseeing the Environmental Monitoring Program, including micro testing and analysis.
This position operates within a manufacturing plant environment characterized by heavy machinery and equipment. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and all necessary overtime to support plant operations.
