About Year Up United
Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to bridge the gap between young adults and high-growth careers. Our mission is to provide participants with in-classroom skill development, access to top-tier internships, and personalized coaching and mentorship. By combining technical and professional training with direct access to our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement, we empower individuals to launch successful careers.
The Experience
Participants engage in a rigorous curriculum covering fields such as Application Development, Banking, Business Operations, IT Support, Project Management, Data Analytics, and Network Security & Support. Beyond the classroom, the program offers a unique opportunity to intern with leading organizations in the Seattle/Bellevue area, including Microsoft, Accenture, Salesforce, and Seattle Children's Hospital.
During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week while gaining real-world experience. The program focuses on developing professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking strategies, and resume building, ensuring graduates are fully prepared to enter the workforce.

Eligibility and Application
To join the program, applicants must be high school graduates or GED recipients who are eligible to work in the U.S. and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Candidates should be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills and must not have previously obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
