Vic Myers Associates is an established and successful Manufacturer's Sales Representative firm with offices across Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. As a broad-based representative firm, we sell multiple technologies into diverse markets for numerous companies. Our team is collaborative, with representatives who think outside the box to solve problems for our clients. We build, maintain, and manage account relationships through active interaction and advocacy.

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative for the OK/AR Territory based in Tulsa, you will serve as a critical link between our clients and the manufacturers we represent. This role is designed for individuals who thrive on challenges and seek high rewards for their efforts. Success in this position requires a genuine commitment to learning complex products and a drive for building lasting relationships.

You will be responsible for soliciting and understanding customer requirements for a wide range of technical equipment, including environmental test chambers, vibration systems, ovens, electronics packaging, and various test instrumentation (analog, digital, and RF). Your day-to-day will involve presenting technical solutions that meet or exceed specifications, maximizing order activity through in-person and virtual meetings, and collaborating with both customers and manufacturers to deliver high-quality solutions. You will also focus on growing existing accounts by nurturing relationships with current clients while prospecting new opportunities through referrals, leads, and networking.

This role demands a high level of organization and self-motivation. You must be able to handle multiple demands simultaneously while maintaining productive relationships. A solid understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing, is essential. You will also be expected to maintain a high-quality company CRM, report activity as required, and attend relevant events such as manufacturer training, sales meetings, conferences, and trade shows. Minimal travel will be required for territory coverage and industry events.
