Safety and Training Manager

About the Role

MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Safety and Training Manager to serve as a hands-on leader within our division. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for the leadership of OSHA and CDL compliance while implementing programs and procedures that align with State and Federal regulations, as well as corporate and client policies.

You will set the tone for a robust safety culture, ensuring all operators remain current with training requirements and that safety manuals, programs, and practices evolve to meet the dynamic needs of our operating divisions. As the division's expert in EPA, OSHA, and CDL compliance, you will oversee the effective management of corporate safety incentives, analyze trend data to prevent future incidents, and lead safety organization efforts regarding both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.

Your day-to-day impact will extend to managing employee injury claims to minimize lost time, collaborating with local medical facilities to facilitate rapid returns to full-duty status, and working closely with corporate claims staff to handle liability and workers' compensation claims efficiently. You will also ensure all new hires meet minimum qualifications and oversee the successful completion of audits conducted by corporate, client, and regulatory agencies.
