About the Role
The Venue Security Officer is a vital part of the Nashville Soccer Club's operations, dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our stadium and its visitors. This role focuses on prevention activities, requiring you to monitor and report on physical security conditions to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
You will be the first line of defense, managing access control by verifying IDs, issuing temporary badges, and inspecting packages and bags for prohibited items. Your day will involve a mix of active duties, including foot patrols, operating metal detectors and CCTV systems, and monitoring designated posts. You will also be responsible for identifying potential hazards such as fires, suspicious packages, or unauthorized activity, and responding calmly to alarms or emergency situations to ensure the safe evacuation of personnel if necessary.
